White Good & Company was started on October 1, 1981, by Ann White, in her Mt. Gretna, PA home. Bob Good joined her in November, 1981. In December, they moved into the Caretaker’s Lodge on the Chautauqua grounds in Mt. Gretna (now the Porch & Pantry Cafe). They moved to the former Lewis Home, a Federal Mansion in Lebanon, in October of 1986. In 1991, the agency established a New York office (at three separate locations – the last at 330 E. 39th St., near the East River).
Sherry Qualls acquired the company on May 1, 1999 and moved the agency to City Crossings, 354 N. Prince Street, Lancaster, PA in July, 1999. In July, 2004, the agency moved into it’s current location at 322 North Arch Street, Lancaster, PA.
Since 1997 White Good has been focused on building a client base anxious to understand “women who love their homes”. Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry, with us since 1984, has led us into our key “niche” market of home furnishings and decor. This is balanced with commercial expertise and experience in the building products industry. Knowing how Designers, Architects, Distributors and Contractors, work and what they want.
