Ann White. A Tribute To Our Co-Founder.
From a kitchen table in Mt. Gretna in 1981, Ann White started an ad agency with her partner and future husband, Bob Good. From that table, she nurtured and successfully promoted a custom kitchen cabinetry company, as well as many other clients. With the agency growing, she and Bob took the business to a grand old mansion on a leafy street in Lebanon. Through Ann’s ability to recognize talent, she hired and mentored many people in and out of the business. 1998 and on, Ann and Sherry Qualls, now owner of the agency, set quite a pace striding the sidewalks of Manhattan to clients uptown and media across town. Armed with presentation cases, pitch boards and easels they drove business.
Apart from her lovely home near Mt. Gretna Lake, Ann enjoyed working in her office of vivid aquas and corals of her beloved, Bermuda. She loved to write, enrolling in literary programs as only Ann could – with gusto. The Provincetown Writers Workshop, the NYC New School University Writers Program and on the Board of Directors of the American Advertising Federation College Advertising Club Competition.
Ann White was a wonderful mother, businesswoman, elegant host and a friend to so many. She will be missed. |
